One of the 100 numbered copies of the EDITION DELUXE with the book guarded in the original red cloth box, and a colored etching with aquatint, numbered in pencil, in a separate portfolio. The book is complete of dust jacket and includes many illustrations and mounted plates in colors, signed in pencil by Chagall in colophon. The colophon mistakenly describes the print that accompany the deluxe edition as a lithograph instead of the etching with aquatint that Chagall especially made for this edition (Cramer n. 48) The Etching comes in a separate portfolio in red cloth matching the box where the book is guarded, and is numbered in pencil on the left bottom corner. $4,000.00
